Our 100% electric truck celebrates its 100’000 km!
We are pleased to announce that our 100% electric truck launched in October 2021 has passed the 100’000 km mark! This truck was launched in partnership with the equipment rental company Avesco Rent following a common desire to reduce direct CO2 emissions linked to the transport of machines. By working hand in hand, our two companies have innovated and are in line with the overriding theme of finding sustainable development solutions through innovation. By putting this 100% CO2-neutral truck on the road, powered by three electric motors which are supplied by its 900 kWh battery, new perspectives have been opened up for road transport.
A very positive result
Our electric truck has been on the road for 14 months, serving our many projects. It has been used for the exceptional transport of Mobyfly’s zero-carbon emission boat, or for the ascent of the Julier Pass, which was a first for an electric truck loaded to 40 tons.
Our electric truck saved about 90 tons of CO2 in 100,000 km.
A truck adapted to our projects and working conditions
Our drivers are very satisfied with this truck which, in addition to meeting our values, offers comfort and good working conditions. It is also quieter than a conventional truck and exceeds the expectations of its specifications in many areas.
Adapted to our projects, it has opened the door to new thinking in terms of the propulsion mode of our vehicles.
An electric vehicle that breaks records!
In addition to its ecological characteristics, our electric truck has capacities that enable it to achieve real technical feats. It can transport up to 27 boom lifts simultaneously, travel 520 km in one day without needing to be recharged and has already served the four corners of Switzerland.
